  1. Work@Dive

I was sad to see the previous post. I am a woman (with small hands and Rheumatoid Arthritis); it was a little awkward at first but if you swivel it around, it is very easy to use with my left index finger (I am also right handed) OR reach over your head with your right are and use your right index finger. I love my durable Oceanic gear! It has taken me through Master Diver, Rescue Diver, Dive Maser and Instructor – 7 years of hard use (chlorine, freshwater & salt water/cold & warm water diving) and it is still going strong and looks brand new. The only reason I am buying more is because I travel more and I am reducing the load. I may even take my original Air XS 2 and put it on the new travel BC.

Ive had my airxs2 for almost a decade. Recently picked one up for my son’s bcd.
It works as designed – Its not a primary reg, but for emergency use. The key with this is to practice with your buddy in shallow water first.
The ergonomics take some getting use to so you don’t accidentally press the purge button while deflating or inflating. Again, practice makes it easier. I simply pull the corrugated hose to vent air instead of the deflate button.
Bottomline, one less hose and you know where your alt air source is..not dragging or hanging up on the bottom.

This Alternate air source is good
Solid performance and low profile small and light both good for travel
Once you get the hang and feel of BC inflate deflate its cool but you do need to get used to what the feel of inflate deflate buttons
with my Biolite which in my opinion is the best travel BC around the AirX2 rocks for travel

  4. Donovan

Very good inflator, the product speaks for itself
