Only used for snorkeling far, but this mask is great. The field of vision is amazing. I’ve read reviews of issues with fogging, but I cleaned the lens very well and scrubbed with a few drops of baby shampoo before using and didn’t experience any fogging.

Great mask, great vision, more fogging in tropical temperatures than my normal temperate water, but this was resolved well by soapy water then later sea gold. Best part is the back strap, gives confidence to know that its very hard to tangle in this area so great to learn to dive with

Great mask…need to really clean before using, to prevent fogging. Needed a little “break-in” time to really seal well (2-3 dives). after that…the best.

I have almost 100 dives on this mask, the fogging issue I am reading about? Not sure about that one, tooth paste, spit and or mask antifog. No problem. I will buy this mask again and suggest you do the same. Great mask in cold water NW Shore diver. And one trip to Bonaire with 20 dives warm water.

When I originally tried the mask on I knew it was the one. It fit perfect and had great comfort. I read about the fogging but baby shampoo does a great deal on it. Can’t wait to break it in!

I purchased the Oceanic Shadow mask about a week ago. It could not fit my face more perfectly, very comfortable with no leakage – although I have read reviews from others mentioning this defect. The only complaint I have (like many others) is the fogging. Most masks I’ve used, pre-treating the mask with toothpaste a few times has done the trick; however, with the Shadow I have yet to figure out how to prevent fogging after a week of scrubbing multiple times a day. Besides that one set back, I love this mask!

I have had leakage problems with other brands of masks so I gave the Shadow a try. It is an extremely comfortable mask and I have no leakage issues with it. I read in some of the other reviews about problems with fogging. I just returned from Cozumel where I did 17 dives using my Shadow mask for the first time. I used Frog Spit and experienced no fogging at all. I would highly recommend this mask to all!

I love this mask. It fits perfectly, and I have a great field of vision while wearing it. I do experience some fogging issues during longer dives/snorkel excursions (especially in warmer waters), but during my usual temperate dives, this is less of an issue. Nothing the occasional mid-dive mask flooding can’t fix. Love it!
